‘Editing life with a splash of colour’
…is the company mantra behind The Colourful Edit, founded in 2015, by Stylist, Lauren Kate Jamieson.
From an early age, Lauren always remembers the colour and beauty in her surroundings. Growing up in the stunning Scottish Borders, working & living in the artful City of Edinburgh, to then spending half her career and ‘adult’ life overseas in NZ and Australia.
In Lauren’s eyes, experiences are gained through travel, learning, exploring and meeting exceptional people along the way. Gratefully soaking it all up, always showing commitment and being passionate. Now a mother of three, life is even more vibrant!
The Colourful Edit was born out of a passion to make life a little more colourful and Lauren’s dream is to build a good life business which will positively impact on those around her, in turn, learning how to live more colourfully with what you already have.

Working alongside Lauren from her London home, Katie has been on board with The Colourful Edit for the last few years.
A talented Graphic Designer with over 20 years working across agencies in New Zealand, Brisbane and London.

Fully trained and experienced in colour, personal style, bridal and accessories styling, Lauren has the personal skills, passion and knowledge of how to ‘dress for you’, to make ‘you’ feel more confident. Lauren’s 'colour, shape and style' session is all you need to get you back on track and feel confident in not only your look, but how you build your story of style. It’s all about the journey.

Accessories
The Colourful Edit Accessories add a pop of colour and a splash of style to your outfit to make it your own. Lauren’s original creations have been designed out of a passion for colour and looking stylish. Every time a neckwear is created, it's designed with purpose and with the intent that you will feel really good and confident in your bespoke creation. The key is to dress your neck in colour, which in turn will enhance your natural features. Each style has been specifically created with the female shape in mind, so there is a ‘style’ for every shape. All our neckwears are handmade out of recycled cotton, by our incredibly talented local makers. It's been an incredible journey with the accessories so far, and an exciting road ahead!

With a background in advertising, marketing, design and photography, we have helped develop many small businesses with 'Styling their Brand'. Lauren works with her right hand lady Katie who brings to the table over 20 years experience in graphic design. In the UK and Australasia. The Colourful Edit can therefore assist in conceptualising, brainstorming, brand look and feel, logos, packaging, content, e-commerce and social media management.

Lauren would be delighted to help you visualise and present your business. Taking pictures of your set up, interviewing and snapping staff, your key products, helping with campaign creative, a photographic journey of your brand - building stories.
